Roles: Producer, Programmer, UI Designer

Contributions

  • Producer: Kept team of six organized, and on track to finish before the deadline.

  • Programmer: Set up the Unity and Git projects, programmed the PlayerController and each of the player's mech's modules (jumping, shooting, etc.) as child GameObjects, enabled when the corresponding power-up is acquired.
    Programmed a "time-looping" mechanic, that resets the scene whenever the player runs out of fuel, loses all health, or falls in a pit.
    Implemented a custom material to apply dynamic lighting to tile maps and enemies in one of the zones.

  • UI Designer: Designed and implemented the HUD, including the health bar, and fuel gauge.
